Soldiers went on a mission
Their ladies kept in waiting
Holding to the visions they had together.
Forever in heart till death pack all humans,
Forever in love till the next couple meeting,
Seven seemed long years to wait,
And suitors had been many to seek hands.
Easy wasn’t there going,
Truck’s staring
Can’t be handed to a stranger,
Sweet island of greatness
Waits for those who wait.
Fading not is the love they had for their men on war,
Not letting go of the faith no matter how far they were,
Coming home soon was a hope not dying,
The love foundation built stronger never faded.
